All Hands In

Masakhane Center is seeking interns to support our youth programs. This is a remote internship that includes the option to facilitate workshops in-person. What does that mean? It means our training, meetings and programs take place online and interns who live locally have the option of also facilitating in-person workshops. Sexuality Educator Interns receive extensive training in workshop facilitation and all of the sexuality topics we offer. We are an all-volunteer organization and this internship is unpaid. However, thanks to our wonderful donors, we are currently able to offer a $500 stipend for Black trans, non-binary and gender expansive folks. More stipend details below.

Sexuality Educator Interns mainly assist in the facilitation of youth workshops. In addition, interns work to create and execute a significant project that utilizes their skills and interests, and are in line with Masakhane’s needs.

Other tasks that may be assigned to interns include: assisting at health fairs and special events.

Interns can work during the Fall, Spring or School Year. All interns must be available to work at least every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm EST.
